Alphabet, established in 1997, is a world leader in business mobility support. They trusted the Everpresent Events team to organize their yearly awards show. This yearly “Lease Car of the Year” ceremony has been organized since 1991. 300 guests straight from the automotive world landed in the Docks Dome for this year’s edition.
The jury was comprised of clients and specialists from Alphabet, as well as journalists from the field. Their goal was to pick winners in several categories, and carefully scrutinized the cars’ every detail in order to choose the best. This year’s Belgian winner was praised for its potential as company car.
The guests were welcomed on a blue carpet with the colors of Alphabet, which led them to a wall where they could find their own name badges. Hostesses in white dresses and short-haired blonde wigs greeted them—a hint for the crazy night and the surprise that awaited them.
Afterwards, the ceremony began. The lights enabled the organizers to convey the atmosphere they created perfectly. Furthermore, these were lit by a Marilyn Monroe look-a-like!
Caterer J&M prepared appetizers for all the guests, and they were followed by large plates of paella. At this moment the guests discovered the many cars that were on display in the room, like the Volvo XC40: this evening’s big winner!
